Boston Children’s Hospital – a Prodigo Solutions client – topped U.S. News & World Report’s Best Children’s Hospitals rankings for the ninth consecutive year, and several other members of the Prodigo Family were included in the top 10.
Prodigo Family members included on the list for all specialties were Boston Children’s Hospital (No. 1), Texas Children’s Hospital (Houston) (No. 2), Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (No. 3), and UPMC Children’s Hospital (No. 6).
On the list specifically for pediatric cancer, Dana Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center was No. 1, while Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center was No. 3, and Texas Children’s Hospital was No. 4. The list specifically for pediatric cardiology and heart surgery ranked Texas Children’s at No. 1, Boston Children’s at No. 2, and UPMC Children’s at No. 3. The neonatology list placed Boston Children’s at No. 2, Texas Children’s at No. 3, and UPMC Children’s at No. 4.
The 2022-2023 rankings are based on data from about 200 facilities and reflect such measures as patient outcomes – including mortality and infections rates – as well as available clinical resources, compliance with best practices, and new measures for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
