Pittsburgh, PA – The Pittsburgh Technology Council has named Prodigo Solutions as a finalist in its 26th annual Tech 50 Awards, which will honor the winners in 11 categories during a Nov. 9 ceremony.
The awards celebrate the most successful and innovative technology companies in Southwestern Pennsylvania. The council evaluates numerous nominated companies and selects finalists based on factors such as recent accomplishments or how the technology nominees are making an impact on the region, nation, or world.
Prodigo is among four finalists in the MedTech/Health IT category. The company was named as a Tech 50 finalist due to its continued accomplishments and impact on the healthcare supply chain industry.
Prodigo is a healthcare technology company that enables health systems to operate more efficiently by providing them with the tools and transparency necessary to control supply chain spend. Its influence on the nation comes from its working with many of the largest health systems in the United States, including 25% of the nation’s top 20 largest Integrated Delivery Networks, 40% of Gartner’s top healthcare supply chain hospitals, and 40% of the top U.S. News and World Report hospitals. Prodigo serves more than 700 acute care hospitals and manages more than $23 billion in spend.
Prodigo has been proven to generate a 30% reduction in the time spent creating requisitions, which creates more patient-facing time for healthcare professionals and caregivers.
