Pittsburgh, PA – Prodigo Solutions is pleased to welcome Connecticut Children’s Medical Center as the latest leading health system to join the Prodigo Family and choose Prodigo’s full Solution Suite.
Connecticut Children’s is a nationally recognized, 187-bed not-for-profit children’s hospital located in Hartford – and the only health system in Connecticut that is dedicated to children, practicing more than 30 pediatric specialties with a medical staff of more than 1,000 employees.
The health system chose Prodigo’s Marketplace, Data Hub, and Xchange for control and transparency, and to increase savings and to drive performance improvements in its supply chain.
Connecticut Children’s also recently selected Oracle Cloud as its ERP. Prodigo’s suite of solutions complements both traditional and Cloud-based ERPs and will seamlessly integrate with Oracle and provide a single data connection to the ERP.
“Our technology extends the value of any ERP,” said Michael DeLuca, Prodigo’s EVP of Operations. “Together, Prodigo and Oracle Cloud will work to ensure the health system realizes interoperability of all supply chain processes from beginning to end.”
Prodigo’s Virtual Item Master will act as a single source of truth to increase savings by providing complete item attribution and accurate price data during the procurement process in Marketplace. Additionally, Data Hub will connect item and price data with the ERP and other downstream processes.
Connecticut Children’s selected Xchange to expand its EDI footprint and rapidly exchange electronic transactions at a lower cost. With Xchange, the health system will have access to one of healthcare’s largest supplier trading networks as well as decision support tools it needs to monitor supply chain efficiency, through-put, and vendor performance.
